The Hynes Cabin is a split-log cabin that was one of the first built on beautiful Palmer Gulch in 1925.  It has an enormous sleeping porch with a dining area that our family has enjoyed for four generations.  This cabin is perfect for the whole family, as your stay includes full access to nearby Rushmore KOA facillities, including a playground, water park, general store, hayrides, and much more.  Our great grandfather, Dibrell Hynes built his cabin on this valley because it had the most magnificent views in the Black Hills.  Harney Peak (above) and Elkhorn loom before you as you gaze off the porch, changing in the light of the sunset. Yes, you can see them from the porch!  This cabin will make your Black Hills Cabin experience the most beautiful and fun ever. Please read more and look at our pictures to find out why, or go ahead and book it
